November 13, 2011: Emma D JennaRat

"No happy pictures. I want to look mean." These were the requests given to us by Emma D JennaRat of the Brandywine Roller Girls. From an engagement and toddler sessions last week, to roller derby portraits this week, it gave us the opportunity to tackle some different emotions. I'm thankful that we got to photograph Emma D JennaRat in such a cool location, but I'm even more thankful I don't have to skate against her!

Ok, I had to get at least one happy picture.

November 6, 2011: Lauren & Gordon

Amanda and I had the pleasure of photographing these two who are clearly in love. They even found the spectacular location with the tree-lined street. I definitely owe them for that! We caught it all with perfect timing as the sun was setting, illuminating the leaves with a nice warm glow. Thanks, Lauren & Gordon for a great shoot!

November 6, 2011: Chase & Paige in Downingtown

We had another great photo session at one of our favorite locations in Downingtown this past weekend. Chase needed some coaxing to move from the playground at first, but then couldn't stop running around in the leaves. Who knew a white umbrella could provide so much entertainment!

Kim and Justice's Wedding at Sweetwater Farm

Amanda and I had the pleasure of photographing Kim and Justice's wedding at Sweetwater Farm. You couldn't have asked for more perfect weather on this spectacular fall day. Aside from taking shots of the beautiful couple, we also had fun capturing Lilly in her white gown running around the farm. Thankfully, one of the horses decided to snack on Lilly's dress after most of the photos had been taken. Thanks Justice, Kim, and Lilly, for sharing your special day with us. Here are just a few of the images we captured.

Snow + Autumn Foliage

For the first time in my life that I can remember, there was snow cover before Halloween. A one of a kind opportunity in this neck of the woods to capture the beauty of white snow gracing the brightly colored autumn leaves still hanging from the trees. I hope everyone else was able to enjoy it as much as myself and Amanda, even though we lost power for 36 hours. It just forced us to get outside and enjoy it a little more.
